Rampestreken

Starting close to the center of Åndalsnes, you can embark on the journey up to the top of Nesaksla, which is 708 meters above sea level.

This is a steep path that consists partly of stone stairs built by Sherpas from Nepal. This section is called Romsdalstrappa and is an experience in itself.

When you have struggled up the steep slopes, the reward comes in the form of a fierce metal ramp that juts far into the air.

This is the Rampestreken, it is 537 meters above sea level and most people will probably feel a little tickle in the stomach when you go beyond.

The view here must be experienced!
