Romsdalseggen is described as one of the most beautiful and wild mountain hikes in Norway 

Here you get wild, mighty mountains and deep valleys with the fjord far down there. At the same time you can see all the way out at sea. 

It is a walk of about 10km and around 1000 altitude meters, so it is a relatively long and demanding trip that should not be underestimated. The trip usually takes 6-8 hours and then you have plenty of time to enjoy the view and get the memories attached to the camera. 

There are some narrow and airy lots and there are some slightly steep ones. The most demanding parts are secured with a chain that you can hold on to. 

It is most common to start this tour in Vengedalen and go to Åndalsnes. From Åndalsnes there is a bus every day to the starting point from about mid-June to end of September. Tickets can be ordered from
