A beautiful valley embraced by majestic mountains, a few minutes' drive from Romsdalseggen Lodge. 

Here you can take a bath in Vengesdalsvannet surrounded by wild mountains. That in itself is an experience of a lifetime! Around the water there are many nice places to settle down for a family outing or to find peace on your own.

Blånebba, Store Vengetind and Romsdalshorn are some of the mountains that surround Vengedalen. 

If you drive almost all the way to the end of the road, you can follow the path up to Litjefjellet. This is a trip of about 20 minutes and it is not often that you can be rewarded with such a raw view for such little effort. When you come up, you stand at the foot of Romsdalshorn and look straight down into Romsdalen with the Rauma river winding its way and directly opposite you see the mighty Trollveggen.
